Song analysis- Yellow Submarine by the Beatles

This is a song called Yellow Submarine by The Beatles. This song has many things that are like a poem. For one, it has repitition. Repitition is when one thing is repeated over and over. Poems have lots of repitition and so does this song. This song repeats “we all live in a yellow submarine. Yellow submarine, yellow submarine” between verses.

This song also has some rhyming, just like poetry. The words “green” and “sea” don’t exactly rhyme, but when they sing them, they sound like they rhyme. It’s the same with “aboard” and “door”.
