The book I read was The Westing Game , written by Ellen Raskin. The Westing game is a well

thought out mystery about the death  of Sam Westing. After the will of Sam Westing is read, the game of Sam Westing begins. The 16 heirs, who don't even know each other and didn't know Westing,
to figure out which one of them, took the life of Sam Westing. Sam Westing was a eccentric, game loving millionaire, who has left his fortune to a stranger, even possibly a murderer. Even though Sam Westing may be dead, that can not stop him from playing one, last game. It would rate this book five stars. I would recommend this book to all people from age 10 and up who love suspense and mystery.

The book I read was Matilda by Roald Dahl. Matilda is about a brilliant girl with awful parents who discovered that she has a magical power. Matilda and her teacher, Miss Honey work on her power, making it stronger and stronger until it can defeat

the Truchbull, the principle who terrorizes the children of Truchem Hall. This is a great book that you will want to read again and again. I would recommend this book to  kids in grades 2-6. I would rate this book 5 stars because it is such a wonderful story about a genius girl, Matilda.

The book I read is called Harriet Tubman-conductor if the Underground Railroad.  It is written by Ann Petry.

I would rate this book 4 stars. it tells the story of Harriet Tubman. It includes from the day she was born to her death. This would probably be a good book for ages 13 and up. It has great details about her life and makes it very interesting to learn about. If you like historical books, this book is for you!

The book I read is The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. It is written by Kate DiCamillo.

It is about a China rabbit who can not move or talk but can listen. He had a loving home with a girl who loved him. But, one day he was on a ship voyage with his owner and he fell off  board . He continued on a journey, going from home to home, some with loving people, some with mean ones.  This is a great adventure story. I would recommend it to people of all ages. If you like suspense and adventure books, you should try this one!
