Digital Citizenship

As more and more students interact digitally–with content, one another, and various communities–the concept of digital citizenship becomes increasingly important.
Which begs the question: what is digital citizenship?
"Digital citizenship can be defined as the norms of appropriate, responsible behavior with regard to technology use. 1. Digital Access: full electronic participation in society. Technology users need to be aware that not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to technology."

Since, I (and you) have the opportunity to share ideas, thoughts, and information using technology, we should be respectful with it, since not all people have the technology to do the things we can do and I'm sure they would like to. I don't know if you will be respectful with your device while you are blogging, but I will. I will make sure that I won't post anything that is inappropriate, violent, of not related to the topic. I know that I will be respectful with my device. I hope you will too.

  1. Hi Maya! I love your post this week and can tell you put a lot of time and effort into writing it. I also love that you researched and added quotes! (Don't forgive to give credit where you found the quote though.) Thank you for sharing your post this week! Good suggestions!
